Introduction of Tribe Land’s NFTs and their utilities
Tribeland's token and economic system is particularly designed to support long-term scalability as well as short-term player’s benefit.
Tribeland in-game tokenomics system
One of Tribe Land's primary objectives is to create a comprehensive open-world metaverse with an in-game economy that perfectly reflects the real-world economy. As a result, we featured a sophisticated tokenomics system.
Tribeland's token and economic system is particularly designed to support long-term scalability as well as short-term player’s benefit.
Tribeland's tokenomics system has been thoroughly researched and will be further improved as the project progresses. Tribeland's economy consists of a broad range of activities, aiming to simulate a real economy as closely as possible. Economic activities in the game are based on 3 main factors: Territory development, Character development, and DeFi activities.
There are 4 asset types that will contribute to the in-game Economy of Tribeland, including:
Monetary Assets. (Fungible SPL Token). These Monetary assets include $SHELL (Inflationary) and $TRBL (Deflationary)
Territories (NFT)
In-game Resources (Fungible SPL Token)
In-game Items and Companions such as Heroes, Beasts, Buildings, Blueprints, Armor, Weapons (NFT)
While monetary assets are considered the heart of our in-game tokenomics, which helps the world of Tribe Land to run efficiently, Tribe Land's NFTs are the soul of the game. Tribe Land's NFTs include:
Territories NFT: This is the most significant and valuable asset in Tribeland. Possessing Territories enables players to unlock endless opportunities in terms of both entertainment and economic value.
Beasts, items, and buildings: These are NFTs that can help increase the strength and value of the character.
All of these assets can be acquired through in-game activities, or they can be purchased directly from the game's P2P Marketplace. Data and information of these tokens will be directly recorded in the form of on-chain NFT Tokens.
Territories
The world of Tribeland is divided into 4 continents. Each continent has a different geographical location, as well as distinct characteristics. These continents will be unlocked gradually as the game’s development progresses.
Each continent consists of different territories (with information recorded in the form of on-chain NFT). There are a total of 50 Territories that can be owned in the First Era. Most of these Territories have already been purchased by private investors, with only few left to be airdropped to the community. This number will continue to expand in upcoming major expansions of Tribeland.
The allocation of Territories in Continents will be as follow:
North-Pole
The North-Pole has 6 Territories. Due to being located in the fridge northernmost region, there are relatively few people and beasts inhabiting Territories on North-Pole, despite its abundance of resources and minerals. However, Beasts from North-Pole tend to have a higher rarity and superior strength compared to the rest of the continents. Legend has it that an ancient species of ice dragon is slumbering deep beneath the ice of North-Pole, waiting for its true owner to awaken.
Forest
The Forest is made up by 12 Territories. Territories from The Forest are well-known for being home to a diverse range of beasts thanks to lush flora. Beasts living in the Forest are notable for the magical abilities that they bestow upon their owners. Additionally, The Forest also contains a lot of wood, iron, and flowers, necessary for preparing potions.
Desert
The Desert has 11 Territories. The Homo Ergasters live in the harsh desert, where they worship the Fire God. The desert is also home to many fire-type beasts so that players can capture and get the soul fragments of this type here. Although the desert has no wood resources, it has more diamonds than other regions.
Plain
The Plain consists of 21 Territories. It is the most densely inhabited region in Tribeland’s world, yet it is also the place of constant wars. In the Plain, it’s easy to find water-type beasts to capture or collect soul fragments. The Plain, like the Northern, has all types of minerals, most notably iron.
Tribeland’s gameplay will revolve around Territories and their utilities. By owning a Territory, players can:
Construct buildings: Each territory has a different rarity, which decides the constructing capacity. The higher the rarity, the more buildings can be built inside. For example, while some territories can only build 4 buildings at maximum, other territories can have a maximum capacity of 10.
Collecting taxes from other players who rent buildings on your territories.
Yielding earnings: Monthly, Territory owners will receive interest directly.
This interest will be granted in the form of $SHELL tokens, thereby increasing the intrinsic value of the Territory.
Lending: Territory owners, on condition of anonymity, can lend/borrow Territory via DeFi Hub with a predetermined duration and price that both parties agree.
Participating in Tribe Council and TribeDAO: Each Territory has different voting power, depending on the location and value. Owning a valuable Territory can increase the voting power of the Territory owner many times, empowering them to have extra advantages to participate in the Tribe Council. In the long term, the Tribe Council will make important decisions for the entire system.
And of course, players can also improve the value of Territories that they own by 2 types of NFTs: Beasts and Buildings.
To improve Territories power and benefits, owners can use Buildings in their Territories. The list of Buildings include:
Blacksmith: Enables forging features. With blueprints and appropriate material, owners can create weapons and armors.
Hero training camp: A place for Heroes to train. This building provides various training quests, which will grant Heroes additional stats and skills after the training finishes.
Beast training camp: This is where Beasts are trained with various training quests included. Completing the training will strengthen the power of beasts by granting additional stats and skills.
Mines: There are different types of mines, which will allow players to mine different types of Ores.
Temple: Praying in the Temple will grant buffs for Heroes. However, buffs will last for only a few hours, and Heroes must revisit the Temple to receive buffs again.
Farm: Allow players to plant fruit trees and raise animals to feed their beasts
Breeding cage: Unlocks the Beast breeding feature. Beasts, after meeting certain criteria, will be able to breed to create offspring.
Guild House: The owner can create and assign quests to other players in Guild House. Of course, it’s their choice to accept the quest or not, so remember to give appropriate rewards to incentivize them.
The major aim of Buildings is to create a new money flow and allow the customization of Territories. Besides Territories, Beasts are also important NFTs in Tribeland metaverse.
Beasts and what they do.
The Beast is another essential part of the Tribal Land’s metaverse. Beast is a one-of-a-kind NFT on the Solana blockchain that acts as an enemy and a companion.
In Tribal Lands, players will face and fight Beasts regularly. Beasts can show up while the player is exploring the world, doing quests, or even attacking other players’ territories. Players can choose to defeat these beasts to claim reward, or to tame and make them faithful companions.
A beast has 4 primary stats, including:
Health Point: The maximum amount of damage that a beast can take before being killed.
Armor: Increases damage reduction
Physical Attack: The amount of damage that a beast can do with basic attacks
Magic Attack: Increases damage from spells/skills
These stats will increase each time a beast levels up. On the other hand, a beast’s skills are fixed upon birth and will not change when it levels up. Depending on its rarity, a Beast may have up to 3 skills; these skills will be strengthened as they level up.
Players can equip 2 sorts of equipment for their Beasts; one increases HP and/or Armor, while the other enhances Physical and/or Magic attacks.
Each Beast is blessed with an element, providing them with advantages over one but weak against another.
There are several ways for players to own Beasts, including:
Early participation in the Mint Drops event.
Buying from other players via the Auction House.
Breeding (Will be available in the 2nd Era, estimated early 2023)
