Introduction of Tribeland’s Nft Marketplace
In the previous post, we discussed Tribeland's economic system. In this post, let's dig into our Marketplace mechanism. And what are the differences between Tribeland and other GameFi platforms?
The rise of NFTs
NFT (non-fungible token) has become Collins Dictionary's word of the year for 2021.
As technology continues to advance at an exponential rate and becomes increasingly intertwined with our daily lives, it should be no surprise that non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are exploding in popularity and sales volumes. In fact, Global sales volumes of NFTs reached $10.7 billion in the third quarter of 2021, making an eightfold increase from the previous quarter. This magnitude of attention is eye-catching, to say the least, and it has businesses and individuals around the world taking action.
The NFT market has reached a tenfold growth in just two years. According to NonFungible.com, the number of NFT sales can currently be between 15,000 to 50,000 per week; against a humble estimate of around 100 sales/week back in 2017. This source also revealed that the sales amount for the first half of 2021 added up to $1.3 billion. Perhaps the most famous NFT sale during this period is Beeple’s “EVERYDAYS: The First 5000 Days,” sold at Christie’s for a record-breaking $69.3 million.
Blockchain technology — a distributed public ledger that records transactions, further accelerates the position that NFT is having today in the digital market. As NFTs are built on blockchain, they represent unique asset ownership in any blockchain-based ecosystem, therefore indispensable to build a sustainable financial power to users, especially in a gaming platform.
The demand for NFT marketplaces is real. It is your gateway to trading any of these uniquely minted assets in the digital realm, ranging from photos to game skins.
According to DappRadar’s report, OpenSea, Foundation, and Rarible are among the top NFT marketplaces that hit a staggering sale value with Ethereum being the most popular blockchain to build on.
NFT Marketplace of Tribeland
Tribeland is a MMORPG Play-to-earn Metaverse, which offers players different types of digital assets.
Tribeland's NFT Metaverse economy features the following assets:
Territories NFT: This is the most significant and valuable asset in Tribeland. Possessing Territories enables players to unlock endless opportunities in terms of both entertainment and economic value.
Heroes, Beasts, items, and buildings. These are NFTs that can help increase the strength and value of the character.
All of these assets can be acquired through the game, or they can be purchased directly from the game's P2P Marketplace. Data and information about these tokens will be directly recorded in the form of on-chain NFT Tokens.
Tribeland will attach special importance to Marketplace and Auction House. These two products will be payment gateways for all NFTs and in-game items. Tribeland's Marketplace and Auction House mainly cater to Tribeland's ecosystem. As a result, most items exchanged and auctioned on the Tribeland’s Marketplace and Auction House will be items acquired via in-game activities, as well as early sales.
Keep in mind, Marketplace and Auction House also play an essential role in the deflation of the entire Tribeland’s tokenomics.
To increase usability and convenience, Tribeland NFT Marketplace will be available both In-Game and also Web-Based (Web3 application).
In-game Marketplace
In-Game marketplace will be the go-to place for users who want to conveniently Buy, Sell, Rent, or Lend any NFT without leaving the game.
Web-based Marketplace
Off-Game marketplace will be the go-to place for seasoned users who want to Buy, Sell, Rent, or Lend any NFT when they are not online in the game or with a larger screen size for better navigation and browsing. Off-Game marketplace will show Tribeland’s Ecosystem NFT, Partners NFT, as well as other collectibles NFTs.
Third party Marketplace
Tribeland NFTs can be traded in 3rd parties marketplace, such as Solanart, SolSea, etc… But if traded in 3rd marketplaces, NFTs can’t be traded with $TRBL, but rather follow the platforms’ currencies.
