The Ultimate guide to conquering Tribeland
Everything you need to know before entering the world of Tribeland
Tribeland is an MMORPG Play-to-earn Metaverse that will take players back to the land lost in time, where humans and beasts walk the Earth together. Tribeland is set to go live on 2nd January 2022, so prepare yourself for a remarkable adventure.
Beginners’ Village
First, players start the game by choosing between 4 different tribes (4 different races): Homo Georgicus, Homo Neanderthal, Homo Sapiens, Homo Ergaster. As a member of a Tribe, your job is managing to survive in the wild, gather all the resources and build the strongest Tribe. Each race has unique characteristics, for example:
Homo Georgicus is an intelligent race hiding in the jungles, and they rarely appear. They are not notable for physical attack and defense but have a powerful magical ability.
Neanderthal is a tall, robust race of notable strength located in the Arctic. They have a significant amount of HP and damage. Their abilities are purely physical damage.
Homo Sapiens is a common and harmonious race. They can exist in harsh environments but primarily concentrate in the plains. Homo Sapiens has a balanced physical attack and defense along with the ability to learn several elemental spells.
Homo Ergaster lives in the Desert, excelling at healing abilities. Although having an average amount of HP and damage, their abilities purely provide substantial healing.
Players will start the game at a beginners’ village. Depending on the initial tribe selected by the player, the game will begin at the respective village. Homo Sapiens will start in the Plains, whereas Homo Georgicus will start in the Forest. The starting location of Neanderthals and Hemo Ergaster will be the Arctic and the Desert, respectively.
At beginners' village, players can get used to the game without incurring any penalties. By completing quests, which demonstrate a mastery of the game's fundamentals, players will get a few starting items to begin their journey. However, rewards granted from the starting gameplay are pretty limited and insignificant compared to the main gameplay.
Quest
For the main quest, Tribeland offers 4 separate quest systems corresponding with 4 main tribes. Players can discover the plot of the Tribeland world through the quest system. By completing the main quest, players will be rewarded with valuable prizes and enhancements, which will come in handy for territory expansion and further adventures. The main quest, on the other hand, is not mandatory, you can still explore the game without any limitation. There is no land or area restricted and labeled “Quest Only”.
The side quest system, in addition to the main quest, is also the pride of Tribeland’s development team. There are no instructions on obtaining side quests; it is entirely up to the player to interact with the world and the NPCs. There are tens of thousands of side quests spread across the world of Tribeland waiting for players to discover. As a typical example, If you give a starving older woman a loaf of bread in the middle of the day while the village chief happened to be wandering around, your kindness will be rewarded with a side quest given by the village chief himself!
Roll-Playing Game
Tribeland, being an open-world game, stimulates players' inventiveness and exploration abilities. Players can freely go anywhere in Tribeland’s world, explore any area they come across. The land is teeming with rare beasts and resources. Your job is managing to survive the wild, gather resources, and build the strongest Tribe. You will have the ability to conquer territories, tame gigantic beasts, learn mythical spells, and most importantly, turn resources into digital assets!
To do that, players need a team of one hero and four beasts.
The selection of heroes and appropriate beasts has a significant impact on the overall combat ability of the squad and battle’s outcomes. Tribeland has many mechanics regarding mutual suitability and adaptability between beasts and heroes. Some combinations can bring strong buff to the team, but some will make their team less dominant. And because the collection of beasts in Tribeland is limitless, players’ choice of their team will be limitless. There is no perfect combination, every team has its strength and weakness, and every team will have its counter.
Players can purchase beasts from the Marketplace and Auction House. But why buy when you can catch, right? Players can catch any beast they meet along the route, however, capturing beasts is not easy, and requires players to have enough versatile tools. And also, the catching method might vary for each type of beast.
All factors should be taken into account to increase the success rate of catching a beast. Indeed, using an iron trap on a rainy day to catch a fire Panthera is much easier than using a net on a blazing hot day, right? And please keep in mind that capturing tools are not cheap at all! If you discover the most efficient method of capturing a wild beast, congratulations, you have found a technique to mine for gold. Higher the risk higher the return. The most difficult beast to catch is the most paid. Remember, you can always trade your beasts in the Marketplace and Auction House!
Combat Feature
In the journey throughout the Earth, players will have opportunities to meet up with other players from other tribes. Players can communicate with each other, exchange items and companions, questing together, or even go on PvP mode to fight each other.
Additionally, players can form their own clans, becoming a large family and participating in Clan Wars where players collaborate in a 5v5 match to acquire glory for their clans and prizes for themselves.
But before that, you will need to know about the combat system.
There will be 2 custom combat configurations available, namely Basic and Advanced mode.
In Basic mode, players will only have to control their heroes to perform several simple actions such as moving, attacking, using skills, utilizing items, etc. Besides, allied beasts will be entirely controlled by AI, using skills whenever they are available for maximum damage. This mode is ideal for new players or those who are not willing to put considerable effort into discovering the game’s fundamentals. Even so, players still can defeat many opponents they come across in the world of Tribeland.
On the contrary, the Advanced mode allows players to have full control over their beasts’ actions during battles. For example: After the hero uses skill 1, Beast A uses skill 1, and Beast B uses skill 2. This mode can bring high efficiency as well as strengthen the coordination between heroes and beasts. However, it requires a deep understanding in terms of the game's mechanics. Furthermore, the player also has to invest a significant amount of time in tactical designs and preset configurations. The only downside of this mode is the effectiveness would be even lower than that of easy mode, if the player attempts to play in Advanced mode without thoroughly knowing the game's mechanics.
The best way to learn is from experience, so, don't hesitate anymore, join the game, and explore the world of Tribeland together!!
